This Comp Kills Fascists Vol. 2
The compilation on Relapse comes out tomorrow (the vinyl will be on Deep Six), and we couldn't be happier about it. The two songs we contributed are our first output with our drummer Ed. You can find the lyrics to our comp songs from the Releases section. In other music news we're working on the final mix of our debut full-length album. We're excited about finishing the music so we can hand it off to Selfmadegod. Our brows are furrowed, thinking about what to call it and what the artwork should be.

Lee Altomare: 1976 - 2010
Ed only had the chance to meet Lee once, the last time we played in Philly with The Communion, but both Taryn and I are quite saddened by the news that came out yesterday of his passing—I heard about it from Triac.Lee was a supporter of ours, which we always greatly appreciated, and when we would get in touch with each other to say hello, not only would we discuss our mutual favorite bands, but we would speak on subjects outside of music. He was a friend and not just a "music friend."
I'll miss him.

Ever since the release of the debut, eponymous mini-album in 2007, we've been asked when Drugs of Faith is going to record a full-length record. That recording has finally been scheduled, for May 2010, at Developing Nations in Baltimore, Maryland, with Kevin Bernsten (of Triac) at the helm.
This is who we recorded our 2008 Demo and our tracks for This Comp Kills Fascists Vol. 2 with. We don't have a title or artwork yet, but we're still working with Selfmadegod, who will release the record.

So we're playing a show with Deceased in Maryland! This is our first opportunity to do that. And seeing as our old drummer Shane
is playing guitar with them, this will be a treat.
Also, we're still writing for our first full LP. We want it to be close to 30 minutes, as our mini-album was about 15. It's going well!
Happy new year - Richard
